Benham joined Bearmark in the spring of 2021 after completing his Masters of Landscape Architecture at the University of British Columbia. Originally hailing from the east coast, he was drawn west in search of experiencing monumental and immeasurable spaces.
A strong 3 dimensional thinker Benham loves to use hand drawing to understand and work through design problems.
At Bearmark he values contributing to the transformation of small spaces into intimate experiences that help to nourish, connect and bring people together. Thrilled to be part of a team that fosters innovative spaces in everyday places, he looks forward to making the outdoors accessible and inviting.
Animated and fuelled by adventure, Benham loves to spend time outside, slacklining, drawing and playing. Exploring the natural world through movement and illustration, his passion for participating in the spaces around us extends into everything he does.
