Summary:

Working as both designer and builder, Bearmark collaborated closely with the client to reimagine this West Vancouver property from the ground up. Removing a large, overgrown hedge that once dominated the dated landscape unlocked new potential and created the opportunity for a complete site transformation.

The project was guided by a phased approach, beginning with the development of a comprehensive master plan that defined programming, circulation, and spatial relationships across the property. Establishing this framework early ensured that each phase of construction could build upon the last while maintaining a clear and consistent design vision.

The completed landscape is both functional and cohesive—offering spaces for play, gathering, and quiet retreat within a refined, spa-inspired environment that feels deeply connected to the surrounding west coast landscape.
